Frequently asked about Chronic Care
Can I buy diabetes or hypertension medicines online in Kenya?
Yes. Our Mall Pharmacy dispenses most chronic-care medicines online for customers across Kenya, including insulin, metformin, amlodipine, losartan, statins and inhalers. Prescription-only medicines require a valid prescription, which you can upload or share on WhatsApp before dispatch.
Do you deliver chronic medicines outside Nairobi?
Yes. We ship countrywide — same-day within Nairobi via Uber/Bolt, and 1–3 business days to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri and other towns via trusted courier partners. Delivery is charged at the live ride-hailing or courier rate and confirmed before dispatch.
How often should I refill my chronic prescription?
Most chronic-care prescriptions in Kenya are refilled every 30 or 90 days, depending on the medicine and your doctor's instructions. WhatsApp our pharmacist a few days before you run out — we can confirm stock, arrange delivery and flag any adherence issues.
Do you sell home blood pressure monitors and glucometers?
Yes. We stock validated home devices including the Omron M1 Basic and other automatic BP monitors plus Accu-Chek glucometers and compatible test strips. Our pharmacist can advise on which device matches your needs.
What if I miss a dose of my chronic medicine?
General guidance is to take the missed dose as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for the next dose — in which case skip the missed one. Never double up. For medicines with a narrow safety window (insulin, warfarin, anti-epileptics), speak to a pharmacist or doctor before deciding.
